Structural features:

Core material:
The core is usually made of cold-rolled silicon steel sheets, which have a high magnetic permeability and low hysteresis loss, and can improve the efficiency of the transformer.
Cooling and insulation:
Cooling method: Oil-immersed self-cooling is mostly adopted, which utilizes the natural convection and radiation of insulating oil for heat dissipation, without the need for additional cooling equipment.
Insulating medium: Generally, mineral oil is used as the insulating fluid. There are also sustainable and biodegradable dielectric fluids, which have good fire resistance and a long service life.
Protective device: Dual fuses are adopted for protection. The insertable fuse is a double-sensitive fuse, which is used to protect against short-circuit faults occurring on the secondary side of the box-type transformer. The backup current-limiting protection fuse is used to protect the faults occurring inside the box-type transformer and to safeguard the high-voltage side.
